Prickly pears, typical of Sicily, find their ideal home on the island thanks to the richness of its volcanic soils. In the making of our rosolio, these sweet fruits are peeled and immersed in high quality alcohol. Subsequently the infusion is filtered and mixed with water and sugar in order to obtain a product with an alcohol content of 30 °. The dark red color of the liqueur depends on the natural pigmentation of the fruit of origin.
