Orange Honey
Its light and delicate color is accompanied by a crystallized consistency, especially at low storage temperatures. The crystals are quite large and make the honey shade even more adamantine.
The fruity, sweet taste, with a very pleasant and delicate acid note, is that typical of Sicilian citrus groves, ripened in the natural sun, in a controlled, healthy and protected environment.
At the table, orange honey presents a great versatility of combinations, by virtue of its sweet but slightly pungent flavor. This honey, so loved by people of all ages, goes well with sweet and savory dishes, raw or cooked. Ideal in the preparation of drinks, cakes or as an accompaniment to fresh or slightly aged soft cheeses. Parmesan is also an excellent companion of this variety of honey.
There are several beneficial properties that this honey has for the human body. Naturally energizing, restorative and revitalizing, it also has a relaxing effect on the muscular system and the nervous system.
Furthermore, orange honey can be used as a soothing agent for mild migraines, and its intake is recommended in the presence of intestinal ulcers.
The Oro d'Etna orange honey is carefully packaged in a protected and controlled atmosphere, in hermetically sealed glass jars, which preserve its taste and aroma over time. The ideal storage temperature should not be higher than 20/22 degrees.
