Modica chocolate is produced according to an ancient method that dates back to the 1700s and which never passed to the industrial phase remaining unchanged through the centuries.
The chocolate is worked entirely by hand, mixing the cane sugar with the cocoa mass and the natural flavors of our various recipes.
Any irregular opacity is due to the traditional cold artisan method (neither conching nor tempering takes place). To enhance the quality of the chocolate, neither cocoa butter nor other foreign substances (vegetable fats, lecithin) are added.
