Penne rigate is an IGP pasta from Gragnano produced with durum wheat semolina mixed with water from the springs of the Lattari Mountains and processed with bronze dies. This pasta belongs to the "penne family" which takes its name from the ancient nib used to write. There are two main characteristics of penne rigate: the rough surface allows you to hold all types of sauces. The other quality is the eclecticism of the product that goes well with any condiment.
